Faculty Advisor: Gwendolyn Henry
Purpose: Crochet Club is a welcoming space where students can express themselves creatively through the fiber arts. The club’s primary goal is to teach basic crocheting skills to beginners while also helping more experienced crocheters improve their techniques. Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, Crochet Club encourages artistic exploration and hands-on learning in a supportive environment. Participation is limited to 30 students to ensure personalized instruction and a comfortable group setting.
Meeting Time: 8:10-8:55 AM
Meeting Location: Room 252 on 7th grade hall in Ms. Henry's room
Cost to Join: $20, includes a beginner crochet kit. The kit contains four balls of yarn (one variegated and three solid colors, a 4mm crochet hook, a plastic knitting needle, three locking stitch markers, six animal eyes in three different sizes, and a bag of stuffing. Everything needed to start creating fun and imaginative crochet projects.
